Special thanks to those of you who took the time to show your bikes and promote Norcal Dragbikes at the 2008 Sacramento Autorama. Dustin Long, 2006 Harley Davidson V-Rod Destroyer was the winner of the Domestic Drag Bike Class while JP Mohn runnered-up with his 2005 Custom Drag Bike. Steven Smith was the winner of the Foreign Drag Bike Class with his 2000 Suzuki and Diego Zuniga runnered-up that category with his 1977 Kawaski KZ-1000.
We had seven bikes participate this year and the promoters of the event were very pleased with our display. We have been invited back for next year's event.

1st Annual West Coast Motorcycle Challenge
With the abcense of the California Fun Bike Drags, Big Charlie stepped up and created The West Coast Motorcycle Challenge. There were 147 bikes that showed up to race. The show was an overall success and Charlie is planning to host two events next year. Thanks to Charlie for taking on this monumental task to continue an all-bike show in Northern California. Phillip Nasca wins at Governor's Cup to take the 2007 Norcal Dragbike Championship! Michael O' Neil takes runner-up honors. This was Phillip's second event win of the year in this series.
Phillip took Eddy Palmer out in the Semi-Finals to lock up the points lead and take the championship. The pair were tied in points going into the race. Michael O'Neil defeated Katie Sullivan in the Semi's to advance to the final round.

Will the 2007 Norcal Dragbike Association Champion be Eddy Palmer, Phillip Nasca (currently tied for 1st), or Diego Zuniga? Head on out to the race to watch and find out who the champion will be. So far, we have never had a repeat champion.
